Washington State Chapter Immediate Objectives
Special
Tribute: Volunteers of at least 4 members from the
different city area to conduct the tribute for their community. These groups
will be briefed by the Vice President on the process of the coordinating and
conducting the Special Tribute.
Service
Officer Shall:
A. Be
responsible for bringing to the attention of all veterans and their dependents
the rights and benefits granted them by law.
B. Must know
how to utilize the expert services available with Veterans Administrations as
well as those other agencies in his community.
C. Shall
visit dependents as soon as feasible after a veteran’s death.
Assistant
Service Officers is needed within the city area as designated below;

Hospitalization
Visitation:
Point of Contact volunteers needed from all the city
area for matters of hospitalized Chamorro Veterans.
The Chairperson for the Chapter is the Vice
President.
Monthly
NOCVA-WSC Meetings:
Will be held on the 3rd Thursdays of the
month commencing on February 20, 2014; Time: 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Location: Asia Pacific Cultural Center, 4851 South
Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA 98409
(Encourage membership to be members of the Asia
Pacific Cultural Center in support to our use the facility for our monthly and
future events.)
Board
of Directors shall comprised of the chapter
officers, as well as three other members who shall be appointed by the
president. These three appointed members shall serve for a period of one, two
and three years; thereafter, one member shall be appointed each year for a term
of three years. The Washington State Coordinators will also serve as a member
of the Board of Directors.
